Non-emergency repairs and repairs performed by personnel under contract with your association such as Irrigation Specialists are typically held until the next scheduled visit. This could be from two days to a maximum of 30 days or longer if it is costly. Other are batched or held until then so that special charges or multiple service charges are not incurred. This explains why you may see a few items handled quickly or quicker while other matters seem to lie idle forever. Since your community’s funds are limited; the Board and Management does their best to use them wisely and to stay within the budget.
Here are examples of service requests that will be batched:
Spraying wasp nests
Replacing burnt out light bulbs
Building or grounds cosmetics
Cleaning something that is not a safety issue
Light repairs that are not safety issues
